Statistical Intern
Job Description:
Students will participate in grant funded research, data analysis, experiment design, report writing, and other consulting for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Both the research and consulting will be focused on statistical methods in biological assay. The work will involve programming to develop new analysis methods and to perform simulation experiments.
Requirements:
Familiarity with R or S+, Mixed models, Linear and nonlinear models, and an MS in statistics or a closely related field. Substantial programming experience, a minor in computer science, training in biology, or pharmaceutical industry experience are all desirable.
